That includes versioning of prompts, parsers, and model selections; evaluation harnesses with seeded test sets and continuous regression checking; observability across the full call surface so the engineering team can debug customer-reported issues without speculation; cost controls and budget alerting tied to per-feature and per-user limits; explicit failure handling for model failures, parser failures, and timeouts; and rollback paths that work in minutes rather than hours.
